A Thing Tickets Can't Buy
Wow, what an amazing couple of days! So many things happened in such a short amount of time - prom last night (which lasted till' morning), Twilight in the afternoon and Madonna's concert just a few hours ago. It's definitely mind-blowing.
It blows my mind how things happen so fast. Things that you've been expecting for years, months, weeks, and then, when they actually happen, it's pretty much surreal. Unbelievable. It's hard to believe that what you've been expecting so much is actually happening, right there in front of your eyes. That you are living that moment. And then, when you least expect it, the moment is over. It just flies. Time, flies. It goes so fast, you don't even notice it.
But, as amazing as it can be, that moment is held in your mind. It's like a photograph but with features. Every time you look at it, you see the place, you see the people, you remember the smell, you can hear the sounds and above everything, you remember the feelings. Sometimes you can even feel what you were feeling, or at least, recall precisely what it felt like.
And that's one of the best parts. The memory. The art of remembering such special things - things that went by so fast.
Your moment may have lasted hours, minutes, even seconds, but it will last forever in your memory. And there's no ticket that values more than this, for this is priceless.
Ps: "I'm not sorry, it's human nature", this part of the song is just stuck in my head. I just keep hearing this song in my head nonstop, it's crazy. I surely LOVED when Madonna played this tonight! *-*
